About FEIBP

The European Brushware Federation (FEIBP) represents European brushware manufacturers and fosters collaboration among its members through networking and the exchange of best practices, promoting a unified and vibrant industry community.

As the voice of the sector, the Association advocates for members' interests in policy and regulatory discussions at both European and global levels. Committed to driving innovation, FEIBP supports research and the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to maintain the highest manufacturing standards. Additionally, the Association offers valuable resources for education and professional development, empowering members with the skills and knowledge needed to ensure long-term sustainability and growth.

FEIBP-Congress

The annual FEIBP Congress brings together over 100 members from across the brush industry. It provides a valuable opportunity to network, attend working group meetings, exchange market updates, and strengthen connections within the sector. In addition to key discussions with raw material suppliers, the Congress plays a vital role in shaping the direction of the industry and fostering collaboration among members.

Standardisation

By means of its working groups the European Brushware Federation accompanies the European standardisation works in CEN and represents the interests of the Brush- and Paintbrush-Industry.

Amongst this, special emphasis is to be given to the works of the Technical committee CEN/TC 173, which elaborated following standards:

  • EN 1083-1 “Power driven brushing tools, Part 1: Definitions”
  • EN 1083-2 “Power driven brushing tools, Part 2: Safety requirements”
